Rotary brings together people from different professions, backgrounds and generations who share a common commitment to Service Above Self. The Rotarian Way

What Does It Mean to Be a Rotarian?

Being a Rotarian means putting Service Above Self into action.

Rotarians give their time, talent, ideas, professional expertise, and resources to support causes that matter. We identify needs within our communities, bring people together, develop solutions, and take action.

It means asking not only "What can I gain?" but also "What can I contribute?"

At the heart of Rotary is the Four-Way Test, which guides Rotarians in the things we think, say and do.

The Four-Way Test

Of the things we think, say or do:

1

Is it the TRUTH?

2

Is it FAIR to all concerned?

3

Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

4

Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

These principles help shape the way we serve, lead and relate to others.
